Philadelphia’s immigrant families are living under enormous pressure. Yet inside the Garces Foundation, hope is alive. This summer, a mother came to our clinic in pain—she needed surgery but had nowhere else to turn. Because of the generosity of donors like you, she received the care she desperately needed. Today, she is recovering and able to keep providing for her children. Her gratitude was simple and powerful: “Without you, I don’t know what I would have done.”
Every week, immigrants like her gather here to learn English, study for their GED, meet with our case manager, attend legal workshops, and receive vital healthcare and dental care. They come not only to gain skills and support—but to laugh together, create art, and feel the dignity of being seen and welcomed.
